Company History

Leroy and Gloria Morgan purchased Slates and Rosprim Co. on August 1, 1972. The company was then incorporated under the name Morgan and Slates Manufacturing and Supply, Inc. on May 1, 1973.

Lee Morgan's background in industrial, welding, and hardware supplies enabled him to expand the already existing welding and machine shop business, at the 12600 S. 10th Ave. location, to include the steel service center and the agricultural & industrial supply departments.

From 1988 to 1989 a new store was built at 12918 Hanford-Armona Rd., Hanford CA. This new store separated the agricultural and industrial supply from the welding-machine shop and steel service center which still resides at 12600 S. 10th Ave., Hanford Ca.
